When I initially founded Trelawear and was brainstorming a tagline for my company the prolific phrase “Safety with Style” resonated with my long-term goals. Being a jewelry expert the first product to naturally launch under the Trelawear brand was a jewelry item, more specifically a pendant necklace, a silhouette that was already widely accepted in the PERS(personal emergency response systems) market. The unique features and benefits highlighted in Trelawear PERS pendants came from my understanding of what women want: beautiful discreet design, versatility, ease of use and simple functionality, weight that feels substantial (of good quality) but not too heavy to be uncomfortable, and several stone color and metal finish options to accessorize their wardrobes. The goal was to create core products that would be recognizable with the Trelawear brand and become the
Safety with Style “must haves” in the PERS industry.
Once Trelawear is successfully established as a lifestyle brand, the future product road map includes ladies and men’s belts, unisex bracelets, and long term prescription eyewear and sunglasses. All new product categories will include the same unique and thoughtful attributes as our pendants. We will also consider
co-branding opportunities to launch a limited collection of “luxe” products for more discerning consumers who value higher quality componentry and sophisticated design. These would include new more complex shaped pendants, use of genuine stones, and unique bracelet concepts.
Regardless of category and price-point, Trelawear branded products will always be designed and developed to make women (& eventually men) feel confident, protected and safe by offering the most beautiful, discreet, and technologically reliable “Safety with Style” mobile PERS products that provide Peace of Mind to users and their families.
